Features of the FLIR TG267

The list of features that the FLIR TG267 has is a long one. Let’s take a look at a few of the most noteworthy features that this handheld thermal camera possesses.

MSX

FLIR TG267 Thermal Camera

MSX (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) is a patented FLIR technology that enhances the clarity of an image. This is done by embossing the visual details as captured by the 2mp digital camera onto the thermal temperature readings captured by the thermal camera. The TG267 thermal camera includes MSX software, which means it can produce highly detailed thermal images that will help users diagnose issues faster by finding hot and cold spots.

Design and Protection

FLIR TG267 Thermal Camera

When it comes to the design of the TG267, the FLIR team has upheld their extremely high standards. The TG267 boasts a compact design with many protective elements. The device can withstand drops from up to 2 meters high, thanks to its IP54 encapsulation and is protected against general dust & water damage. The TG267 is as stylish as it is rugged, thanks to its black exterior and colorful display.

Storage

The TG267 thermal camera is capable of storing up to 50,000 images on its 4GB internal storage system. All thermal images are saved and stored in JPEG format & can be easily transferred to other devices using the included USB-C data transfer cable. This is extremely helpful when monitoring maintenance history and providing your customers with proof that their problems have been solved.

Connectivity

In terms of connectivity, the TG267 has a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connection. A Meterlink connection enables users to connect to the FLIR Tools mobile app so they can upload measurements and thermal images while still in the field. A USB-C cable is included to facilitate both the charging of the device as well as data transfers.

Built-in Flashlight

Incorporated into the TG267 is a flashlight, meaning you’ll be able to assess dark areas with your eyes on top of being able to view it through the device’s screen. The built-in flashlight is a 6500K LED flashlight that can be switched on and off at the user’s discretion.

Battery Life

The rechargeable 3.7V li-ion battery takes 6 hours to reach a 100% charge and is charged via the included USB-C cable. The battery life on the TG267 will last for 4.5 hours of continuous scanning with the laser-activated and a full 5 hours when the laser is inactive. If you charge the battery overnight, you’ll never have to worry about your battery dying in the middle of your workday again.

Warranty

The TG267 is covered by FLIR’s extensive 2-10 warranty, meaning that once registered your device will be covered for parts and labor for a 2-year period & the detector is covered for 10 years. If you don’t register your product within 60 days of purchasing it, it’ll only be covered by a 1-year warranty.
